You pay 365i a fixed monthly fee for our management of the GCP server. GCP infrastructure usage (Compute Engine, storage above the 20 GB included, and bandwidth above the 2 GB included on every plan) is passed through at Google Cloud pay-as-you-go rates with zero 365i markup: you pay exactly what Google charges us. The per-GB rate and your estimated monthly cost are shown to you in the live build configurator at my.365i.co.uk/build-server before you commit.

By default, servers are provisioned in the europe-west2 (London) region for optimal UK performance. You can choose any of Google Cloud's currently available regions from the build configurator at the time you order. Contact us if your procurement requires a specific region.

Google Cloud's underlying infrastructure costs are higher than the equivalent AWS resources, particularly for bandwidth and disk space. Google Cloud is positioned around Premium Tier networking, custom Titan security hardware, and the same infrastructure that powers Search, YouTube, and Gmail. If procurement requires GCP specifically, you get those advantages. If the choice is open, AWS often works out cheaper for the same workload at our managed-services tier.

Your server is fully managed through our control panel, which provides everything you need. For advanced users requiring direct GCP console access, please contact our support team to discuss your requirements.

Yes, Google Cloud is fully GDPR compliant with data centres in the EU. We can provision your server in any EU region. Google provides comprehensive data processing agreements and security certifications.

Google Cloud uses its Premium Tier network, meaning your traffic travels on Google's private fibre backbone rather than the public internet. This delivers lower latency, fewer hops, and more consistent performance than standard cloud providers.
