Mark started 365i in 2001 from a spare room in Kettering after moving down from Glasgow. The first server was a single shared box and a hand-coded sales page. The principles that shaped that first signup are the ones that still run the company: fast servers, real support, and no overselling.
Hosting drives the day-to-day. Mark personally tunes the platform — caching layers, NVMe storage, autoscaling LVE resources, daily backups, the lot — and reviews every stack change before it ships to client packages. If something on a client site is slow, it gets investigated, not waved away.
He is also a working WordPress developer. The plugins he writes for 365i clients (performance optimisation, AI Discovery Files, queue tuning, environment indicators) are released free on WordPress.org. Hosted with us, you get the same tools Mark uses on his own sites, with the same person available to talk through them.
